Peningkatan Kreativitas Mahasiswa Melalui Pagelaran Seni Pada Tradisi Sedekah Bumi Desa Karangtengah Kecamatan Jepon Kabupaten Blora

Abstract

Art performances are one of the means of actualizing students in fostering creativity while strengthening interaction with the community. The tradition of earth alms in Karangtengah Village is a valuable opportunity for students to play an active role through art activities that are not only entertainment, but also educational and function to preserve local culture. This research aims to illustrate the contribution of art performances in increasing student creativity while enriching the meaning of the earth alms tradition. This activity was carried out on August 29, 2025 by involving students, village officials, youth organizations, and the local community. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through direct observation, documentation, and interviews with students and residents. The results of the study show that art performances have a positive impact on increasing student creativity through musical performances, dance, and drama. In addition, this activity also strengthens cooperation between students and the community so that togetherness is created in efforts to preserve traditions. In conclusion, art performances are not only a vehicle for developing student creativity, but also serve as a medium to strengthen social relations while maintaining the sustainability of the earth alms tradition in Karangtengah Village.
