Abstract

Curriculum implementation in schools continues to face various challenges, particularly the mismatch between curriculum planning and classroom learning practices. This condition indicates managerial problems within the school management system, especially in the functions of pengawasanon and curriculum evaluation. This article aims to examine in depth the issue of inappropriate curriculum implementation from the perspective of weak pengawasanon and evaluation within school management. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant journal articles, academic books, and research reports related to curriculum management and educational pengawasanon. The findings reveal that learning pengawasanon in many schools remains administrative in nature, inconsistent, and lacking systematic follow-up, causing it to fail as a mechanism for professional guidance and quality control. In addition, curriculum evaluation has not functioned as a reflective and diagnostic instrument but is often limited to fulfilling formal reporting requirements. As a result, problems in curriculum implementation tend to recur without systematic improvement. This study concludes that ineffective curriculum implementation reflects the weakness of school managerial systems in integrating pengawasanon and evaluation. Therefore, strengthening structured, participatory, and sustainable pengawasanon and evaluation is essential to ensure effective curriculum implementation and continuous improvement in educational quality.
